Great Bear Resources Ltd. GTBDF

Primary Symbol: GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

Red Lake goes deep.

Red Lake goes deep.Continuous mineralization down to 400 meters now.

Gold bearing fluids come from the bottom up, so as long as the mineralization is the same and the drill doesn’t hit another big fault or different mineralization, you can reasonably assume that the gold below will be similar or even better than the gold above.

I can only assume people were looking for high grade numbers even though the results were from the lower grade zone.  GBR started out as a high grade story, but now it is the low grade zones that are really exciting.  Chris Taylor pointed out recently that the market is taking time to understand that change.

When an analyst updates their price target using 400 meters instead of 200 metres depth, all the people that panic sold today will be kicking themselves.

If the grade stays above an average of 1 gram a tonne and the mineralization keeps going deeper this strike will be on the level of Malartic.  If that happens the NSR spin out alone will be worth the current share price.
