Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

Yes, a buyout has been in the works for quite awhile. Once the Special Recapitalization Meeting is completed at Headwater Exploration on March 4th, Neil Roszell's buyout announcement will soon follow!

They're going to do a 1 for 3 consolidation on Corridor shares prior to becoming Headwater?

Pandora, where did you read that? That is news to me.

From the January 13 CDH news release:

"Upon completion of the Transaction and in conjunction with the next annual general meeting, it is expected that the shareholders of Corridor will be asked to approve amongst other items: (i) a change of Corridor's name to "Headwater Exploration Inc."; and (ii) a consolidation of the Common Shares on the basis of one post-consolidation Common Share for every three pre-consolidation Common Shares."

This is very interesting Pandora! You are correct about the Corridor Resources NR, but the Proxy materials, dated February 6th, do not reflect this. I guess I will have to re-read the Management Information Circular.
Thanks,
Kherson
