Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Carl and I share the same view on dilution

Carl and I share the same view on dilution

Should i be a CFO of a company?  I'm starting to think so.  I schooled Outhere regarding the privatisation of APHA.  i'd like all of you to digest what Carl is saying regarding dilution in a growing market:

I get that some investors believe a company should never dilute them. The problem with that belief is it is not a realistic expectation from investors, particularly in a growing industry. Companies need money to grow. That money can come from a few sources, it can come from internal sources, from lenders or in the form of equity from additional investors. The cannabis industry is too new and not developed enough to be able to grow internally. I am only aware of one reasonably large cannabis company that grew internally and that was MedReleaf.

It's like if Carl is taking advice from me.
