RE:TVE to buy YGR???No one could confirm any rumor that would be based on inside info.

But what would make sense is getting larger and larger so the investment community and institutions have the stock liquidity to own the shares and drive up a higher multiple. YGR management is aware of this problem.

For this to be accretive to both parties there has to be reason to believe TVE can use their waterflood expertise on YGR's lands and/or TVE can use YGR's techniques on TVE land. They don't have any continuous acreage value as far as I can tell.

Downside is the Alberta curtailment will eventually be reached if these two companies are combined. The max is 20,000barrels a day.

I don't see any reason for YGR to merge as equals. It doesn't make sense unless YGR gets bought for $3+ and then have both companies drive future value together. Even that doesn't make much sense. Why would TVE care?
