RE:Good Article to Read

RE:Good Article to ReadFor couple years I was insiting that Li and NLC is a long term game on demand side.
It is not l-t anymore as time passed.

Demand
  1. 2021 considered as a special year because Europe anti-ICE regulation will be on. That will push Europe into EV seriouslty.
  2. Second, Chinese manufacturers will adapt to new incentive regime.
  3. Finally, demand was undercut by inability of Chinese battery makers to process all materials and this will be resolved soon.
Meanwhile supply side slowed down considerably.

Inventory
  1. To meet 2021 challenges, inventory should be build up.
  2. There is excess of inventory exist among Li miners as oversupplies runned for 2 years.
  3. At the same time, battery manufacturers get rid off their inventory (correctly) expecting drop in price.
Therefore, we are not talking long term, but mid term now. 6 - 8 more month and we will see the sector revitalize.

Meanwhile, NLC will advance EIA, Pilot, and FS keeping own share in movement, but I do not expect more than 10-30% gain (unless financing) on NLC news alone.
