RE:RE:RE:Strong "No".
RE:RE:RE:Strong "No". As I mentioned, I did the same in terms of selling and am in the same boat in terms of what to buy besides the WIR.UN postion I initiated and the add to DIR.UN. Both are not bad options for you to think about.
I was always a big fan of BPY.UN and have a full position in it but I'm getting a little concened with some bad press recently in the Financial Times (see the BPY board for the the link on it from one of my posts)..
My wife and I are retirees living off dividend income and only invest in TSX listed dividend income/growth stocks in 5 sectors - REITs, banks, midstream, utilities, and telecom and have full positions in all the key guys including all the ones you mentioned. The utilities (especially renewables) have had such a huge run that it is a little scary to think about adding at this point. I think the banks and midstream are the place to go.

i just sold .. they are worth more.. but the deal will go through and i don't want to hold some mutual fund type fund... with anual fees .. prb high to eat into any 10 percent divi... and the growth in this fund would be minimal.. back to the drawing board.. bpy .. will get some consideration.. along with killiam.. any other ideas in the multifamily unit sector?
also prb some banks.. even though they don't fair well during low rates... mo abbv.. td ry maybe some utilities fortis or cu and maybe a pipeline like trp or enb ahhh
