RE:RE:RE:GoldmanSachs warns 10% market correction to buy stocks cheapYWGT.. thank you for your words.. My post was in no way directed towards trying to scare anyone into selling their shares or discourage investment in Air Canada.. remember that there should be a degree of balance on any board discussion..it seems that the so called market analysts have over the past few weeks, excluding the last two days, ignored the potential spread of this virus and therefore the economic effects on the world economy and in particular the travel industry.. some of the posts on this board followed suit .. when the Goldman Sach's warning came Thursday it was dismissed by some on this board as a scare tactic in order to frighten investors into selling their shares... perhaps a possibility, however the market as a whole has now started to pay head to the distinct possibility that the spread of this virus is real as pointed out by the immunology experts who have stated that it's a 50/50 possibility ...I don't think that their analysis is a scare tactic... the degree to which this virus spreads is unknown at this point however the market is now starting to price in the risk as seen by a shift into US treasuries and gold over the past few days.. I agree with you that there will be a recovery but the question remains around the timing and the degree of economic damage and loss of human lives that will have been incurred..we are down around 20% at present so lets hope that it is soon.. https://apnews.com/783c7a396adf5f99b8cff399f9478e36
