Any one could be appointed company financial officer. 
please keep in mind, does the  the present cfo have a framed diploma on the wall?????? 
To be a member of the CFO Society, you must have their courses to be called a CFO.
My wife tells her friends that I am the accountant in the family, @Grade 3 education I can look after the family budget
SO WHO CARES ABOUT THE TITLE????????????????
