RE:yes the big crash is here

RE:yes the big crash is hereMy trigger finger getting very itchy on FFN. I have to tie my hands behind my back.

FFN down approximately 17.6% in the last 6 days of trading. But then I look at the broader market, TSX down only 6.8% during the same time. I will NOT start easing back into market until TSX down a minimum of 10%. Small positions and will average down hoping TSX does not drop more than 20%.

Then of course, there's the USA presidential elections in November. I'm no fan of Trump, but if a democratic President is elected expect another drop in US markets with the Canadian dragged along with them.

The old addage "Sell in May and Go Away" came 2 months early with this Covid-19 situation. And I admit, I completely mis-read it - I thought it would die down in a week. It's just getting started in North America. And I expect USA will be hit hard. With the cost of health care nobody is going to self diagnose or self report ad so transmission will be particularly bad. Anecdotally I heard of one American who got tested and got a bill for $3K for the services.
