RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Sell the news opportunity coming upThanks again, Sarge.  I'm trying hard not to login today (but it is hard with all these alerts).  Will log in next week.

All the best,

My wife and I have a full position in both BCE and Telus. wI really like BCE and am a little luke-warm on Telus but I wanted us to have some teco exosure. I've never liked Rogers so have always stayed away from it. Any others are too small/local for us.

At this point, I'd be a little hesitant to be picking any Telcos up with all the CRTC cr*p. Maybe once that gets settled, BCE might be worth it.

Take her easy

WalterWhy wrote: Thanks again--I actually forgot about a KEY trade and an FIE I had open in my account and got both filled this morning and didn't even realize it until I got the notice. (I left an IPL order open too, but it didn't get quite that low...)

I think you're right that Tuesday is probably a good day to evaluate the state of the markets.  Hopefully tomorrow is an up day and ALA delivers some good news.

Would you consider any Telcos?

You're welcome.

Also very good on your PPL.

Wild day today so more stuff going on sale for the right moment. I always prefer the realy steep & fast corrections compared to ones that drag on so hopefully this will be in the fast category. Tues may end up being a good day at least to start nibbling.

I've got some extra cash so will probably do some swing trading when the time comes. I generally only trade in companies I already own so thinking of KEY. PKI, BPY.UN for starters.

Take her easy and enjoy putitng that cash to work

I got really lucky on ENB and NPI (not so lucky on ALA, BPY and IPL, but I guess that's life).
I backed up the truck on BPY last week, but I think I have room for some more IPL and will also take a look at KEY (I sold my PPL on Friday as I thought it was getting a little high, so might be a nice sub-in).

Right now, it looks like the virus is making new headlines, so I think I'll take your advice and wait until Tuesday to do any buying.  I'm a little fearful of ALA reporting Friday, as it's both a skittish market and the market has decent expectations for them this year.

Glad to hear that you're still enjoying retirement and taking it easy.

Thanks again,
WW
