WersigNot sure if ( you ) were in this stock prior to your first post on ( this board )
Shareholders have seen lots + been through lots.
It began with Portofino ( having ) lots of monies to expand the SALARS...
To suddenly, next to NIL monies.
Then, an out of blue consolodation + Rio Grande being, dropped.
FASTFORWARD
To the.... 3 shots at glory article...
Where we can read Portofino working on two SLARS, and wanting to drill.
Nothing has come of this....supposed drilling.
Like Taffel stated in his most recent video, the SALARS are cheap to carry.
Which is every reason to keep on carrying them.
I find it very odd - Portofino - now wants to unload the Hombre claims exactly when
good news from a nearby peer has struck 900/ppm on, Hombre. ( aside Portofino )
I also find it very odd, there was no mention of Project 2 and it's sudden dissappearence.
I have not at, all...seen any press regarding ( project 2 ) do you see any ?
Are You...certain Portofino paid less that - what it's selling 2 Hombre SALARS for ?
Not just the carry costs...let's dig a little deeper and pull forward the exploration costs.
I was not aware the claims were from an Argentine resident -
Press Releases never did cover this subject and it leaves....one to assume.
You...say it is in press release ?
WERSIG WROTE -
As noted in previous NR and POR Financial statements - the claimholder wanted to terminate/renegotiate the agreement with POR- seems the relationship was also strained and if so, this is a win-win-win for all parties involved. Now...given the Hombre Map available open source ( several venues ) take for instance
GALENS MAP - the majority of Hombre SALAR has a red perimeter outline owned by said
Entity associated to the red perimeter = hemce = my assumption = arrived at that entity.
I thank you for addressing this and it is now out in the open, a private Argentine resident
is the vendor.
Would you, not agree the Hombre SALARS are now more valuable given a nearby peer
has proved there is 900/ppm lithium ?
Did Portofino not say they were looking to JV ?
Now...how is it...selling the SALARS after lithium is proved to be in close proximity, good ?
You say good for POR - perhaps biased... but is it good for shareholders ?
And that's where the problem lies. Selling the 2 SALARS for the price of $100/k + 650/k shares
is not ( exactly a good deal ) considering NRG has seen / entertained $18/mil.
Yes...a more advanced project but...let's ask the question why hasn't Portofino drilled lie they
said they wanted to...had they...such would place Portofino in a superb position amongst it's
peers - on Hombre.
Shareholders have not seen a good valuation in a very long time.
Do...you have any idea what it feels like to be a POR shareholder...?
Can you imagine experiencing a consolodation ?
Value stripped without having a say...?
Can you...imagine waiting for Portofino to drill Hombre, but nothing ever came about ?
As a shareholder....I had to sit, wait, watch + hope...while nearby peers hadcno problem
advancing .
It's been a slow drawn out process...
Consolodation.
Slow moving advancing.
SALARS, dropped = which eventually diminishes the over - all, value.
Not Fun.
And now...
The final blow is watching Hombre slowly FADE away....
Where another will take our 2 SALARS for a modest $100/k
And...where Portofino will hold the shares of, Galen.
Not exactly what an investor wants to hear.
It's not a value to be proud of.
It's not the right price.
Wersig, you can have your stance of - it's good for Portofino - in light of,
Portofino no longer having the obligation + payments of, Hombre.
Sometimes what is good for Company - is not good for shareholders.
We're at loggerheads.
Both biased.
Both with own view point.
My point of view as a shareholder + has seen much loss in this stock.
Imtitally invested because of the lithium.
And now...each lithium projects is slowly slipping away.
Can you, wersig...honestly say you would have the same viewpoint as you do,
Which takes the side of POR and says....it's good for Portofino, if you experienced
all that has happened prior to consolodation, being a LONG shareholder ?
Lastly...
I may have gone off on a rant.
But...try living this ordeal.
Not Fun.
And I perhpas, assumed who could be / might be the POR, vendor.
Which...as you pointed out - my assumption was wrong.
But....given the circumstances of ( I have NEVER seen a name of vendor ) in press
such as you suggested....is in press...then, where is it ?
At this point + juncture...
Can a shareholder really have any ( SAY ) ?
Would be nice to, PUT IT TO A VOTE.
Whereas, shareholders can have a say.
Yet...did the former consolodation take this provilage away...?
If investing has resorted to Juniors - comsolodating stock - and stripping shareholders
from a voice and say all with ( 51/mil ) shares out....what's the point of investing ?
Do you think it's right when a junior rolls a stock with so few shares out ?
There's the Billion dollar question.
One could side with the, junior.
One could side with, shareholders.
Based on the amount of posters that use to post on both CEO.ca + Stockhouse.
It doesn't seem like there are many shareholders remaining.
All the less resistence whereas, junior can do as they see fit.
Perhpas, look at it from a long standing shareholders stance.
It's been a gruelling experience.
Pleasure chatting.
And thanks for the correction.
Cheers !
