Every time there is an economic hiccup, AHIP uses that as an excuse to reduce guidance.
How do you think all those new hotels in Texas oil country will do this year, with drilling and completion activity down 30% y-o-y?
Why did the previous owner dump a portfolio of newer hotels that won't require renovations for at least 5 years?

This week's drop was similar in magnitude to that of other North American hotel stocks.
