RE:RE:RE:The level of manipulation I am beginning to suspect that somewhere along the line, it became evident that the turnaround plan was not going to succeed, and changed to the "keep the company alive so we can take whatever is left private" plan. Of course, that is just pure speculation on my part.

However, it would be naive to think the families would not want to take the crown jewels for themselves. I would not be surprised if, once the asset sales are completed and BBD is on relatively sure footing financially, the families orchestrated a bid to take it private. 

I would think that could happen fairly soon after the pending sales are completed, perhaps in late 2021 or early 2022, before the share price has a chance to climb to the $3 range. If the share price is around $2.50, an offer of $3.25-$3.50 might be perceived as a significant premium.
