Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Can you say supply crunch!

RE:Can you say supply crunch!

There is one serious problem with this thesis. The black market can readily meet the supply demand gap left by legal LPs.

A stable price is not what those of us that have almost half a million in losses want to hear. We want to return to all time highs to attempt to recover our invesment.

The black market, or should I say illicit market to be politically correct, is on standby and ready to fill any supply gap left by the legal LPs.

We can all wish there was more enforcement, but enforcement individuals are people too. As such, they have fear of what will happen to them as a result of their participation in enforcement activities. Not as bad as cartels in the south, but close enough.

This is only going to intensify here on in so very shortly we will a supply crunch and as a result stable or higher prices for Aphria to sell it's products at. Remember as more and more retail stores get built out especially in Ontario demand is going to skyrocket. And as more and more greenhouses fold up like a house of cards cannabis supply will dramatically decrease. I love it. :-) PROF
