Maybe its some russian connection or fund that was shorting and slandering but the facts dont line up. An Encana with a hedged book and big nat gas exposure doesnt drop 48% after falling 50% on this.  Its .....unusual.  Its conrived- and there should be some real forensics here to figure out who did what and said what . Not a level playing field.

Someone knew todays open .Someone knew Opec announcement and traded before hand.

Actually, everyone should have known on friday that there was going to be a sell off because the Russians ddidnt join the Saudi cuts and the Saudis said they would drop the price of oil in order to force Russian compliance. No need to come crying here about manipulation. The clues were there for the smart traders
