RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Why should I buy ALA at current prices?IMHO when you look back on 2008 downturn, utilities and pipelines didn't fall nearly as much as other sectors such as finance and manufacturing. Since we now have low oil and natural gas prices, there is a fear that shale and oil sand projects won't be able to compete with off-shore suppliers. Depending on how long these low prices, we could see production cut-backs in the the US and Western Canada which would affect pipeline profits. ALA has large position as a utility which will help maintain its pricing. Also I believe it has a lower debt than ENB, PPL and IPL.
