"Provincial wholesalers, retailers, and consumers alike are demanding 48Norths products largely a result of the significant progress the Company has made in building a strong, authentic and trusted brand in Canada." I find it a little odd that they would admit that their greatest strength is their brand which Alison was really strong at developing yet she is now out of the company.
Her departure is a little hazy. Perhaps she was asked to step down as CEO and take a marketing role but that didn't suit her and she left? Otherwise, why let her go of her talent if the brand is what keeps 48N ticking thanks to her? A little perplexed.
