RE:ccaa is a chance to start on the right footTcheck... you seem to have a great deal of difficulty understanding what is written in english! At no point did I say it was a death sentence, did I? The company needs money and it needs a shitload of money to complete construction. Unless it gets those funds, how does Nemaska stay in business? No money to complete the mine, no raw materials, no lithium hydroxide, no revenue, no ongoing business! No money to complete the processing plant, no lithium hydroxide, no revenue, no ongoing business! CCAA presents an "OPPORTUNITY" only. A financier, willing to invest big bucks must be found! They are not there to help the shareholder, they will be there to pick the bones of the carcass at ten cents on the dollar.
Tcheck... when will you realize that your girlfriend is on life support in the ICU. The medical staff want you to pull the plug and let her rest in peace, but you insist on believing there is a glimmer of hope. You want to get everything back that you invested in the relationship with her... all you are going to receive is an urn full of ashes!!!

The Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (commonly referred to as the "CCAA" or the "CC, double A") is a Federal Act that allows financially troubled corporations the opportunity to restructure their affairs. By allowing the company to restructure its financial affairs, through a formal Plan of Arrangement, the CCAA presents an opportunity for the company to avoid bankruptcy and allows the creditors to receive some form of payment for amounts owing to them by the company.
