Perfect resume of the situation ICT!
I like the majority who took the time to vote am terribly disappointed of this turn of events. My hopes had been raised higher than they had been in a long time (same summary as yours that the planets had all been lined up for a return to business as it SHOULD be).
Now, we're litterally at the mercy of Global and the proven shady characters behind it. Surely they had some sort of plan and not just butt heads to butt heads. We know they will never serve our (shareholders) interests as much as their own - they've proven it over and over. We can only wait and see what they will do, if anything. While on the other side, not sure what could come out of nowhere and cause a surprise reversal of the situation. Not sure what all the complaints to the TSX could do or if any sort of surprising legal battle could come out of nowhere - though usually no one wins there and they become long and tedious anyways.
Some of us are still stuck on "what could have been" ...while others have decided to "go with the flow" and "hope for the best" ...unless someone brings something of value up, any side one finds him/herself on, it's out of our hands at this point and even though we are the rightful "owners" of the company and it is NOT what we voted for, we're at "their" (Global and the shady characters that they are!...) mercy.
Thanks to all who always take the time to share invaluable information that they take the time to dig up through all sorts of research, work or connections!! I still find this board very useful and appreciate all the constructive comments, positive or negative.
