Its Downstream segment consists of Canadian Manufacturing, and United States Manufacturing. The Company's upstream operations include oil sands projects in northern Alberta, thermal and conventional crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) projects across Western Canada, crude oil production offshore Newfoundland and Labrador and natural gas and NGLs production offshore China and Indonesia. The Company's downstream operations include upgrading and refining operations in Canada and the United States, and commercial fuel operations across Canada.

RE:Prime takeover target.

I'll agree there maybe some offers made to juniors like meg but theres no chance cenovus would entertain any offer even close to these levels. They wouldn't look at anything under the 20 dollar value I'm sure and those numbers are not going to happen in these times. Therefore I dont think cenovus is a take over target at all. I really dont think any of the companies that have taken a bath lately would entertain takeover prices at these levels unless they become unable to service there debt and are forced to like pengrowth was a few months back.
