Alstom shares fixed at 47.50 /share.
the exchange rate converting from euro to us on feb 17 was .9224 and presently at .8943 thus requiring about  50k  more shares to foot the bill for the 550 million us in shares at 47.50.

alstom shares close at 38.46 on march 13

the exchange rate for now works in bombardier's favor or equivalent to about 50k shares.

Since Alstom’s shares have lost some value in the wake of the coronavirus, Bombardier would have received 100 million dollars less than expected if the deal had closed yesterday. Bombardier said that there isn’t any adjustment clause in the agreement with respect to Alstom shares price. Of course, the stock has plenty of time to recover until the closing of the transaction.
