Operating Man camps in a Global Pandemic -Not

Operating Man camps in a Global Pandemic -NotThe NBA, NHL and MLB have suspensed operations indefinately.  I was in Phoenix and got turned back at the stadium when they cancelled spring training. Schools have closed in Alta, BC, Ont and Sask ( I know becuase the grand kids are coming when dad goes back to work after self isolating a silver lining). Groups of more than ten are openly discouraged if not banned throughout Canada.
I think the sports teams are the closest to man camps as a comparable.
Man Camps and drilling and completions operations are bad becuase:
1.  The folks eat off of buffets (would you?)
2.  All personnel including cooks rotate across the country every two weeks and can spread the virus widely);
3.  There are common washroom facilities;
4.   People eat at tables of 8 and wait in liine for the buffet line;
5.  There are gym facilities. Are you going to your gym. We aren't;
6.  On crew rotation up 500 people at VII camps are travelling throughout western canada;
7.  Crews gather in clusters at daily safety meetings ( this is a VII policy and WComp regulation to have daily safety meetings);
8. Crews travel to work in cramped crew trucks.
I could go on but you get the point.
Companies across Canada (including small businesses like restaurants) are stepping up to do their part as most Canadians as individuals.
Wouldn't it be the right thing to do and perhaps the smart thing to do given the current economics to puase activity for two months to see where things stand. VII says they value satey and want to avoid hurting people so this should be easy.
