Imagine the expense of having to lay off a couple of hundred employees and contractors in the middle of construction or early pre-commercial production. Companies are literally loosing there shirts right now while Maritime is able to chug along with business as usual de-risking the project. Mining is not a cheap venture and once you start construction or production a halt can be very expensive and make it very difficult to re-open.
