To answer your question, the non board lot trades generally come from poor over seas who don't have much money but buy what they can.  It tells me the stock is very widely followed.

Secondly, there is resistance points that can take some time to bust through but when it does, it's like the cork of champagne is popped and then kaboom.

Captiverde (pwr) was like this hitting resistance at .30c and small trades at .07c.

Sit tight and the blast off will come.
