Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

LPs that were under duress before and that were counting on the revenue that the retail stores provided to stay afloat will now surely falter. Make no mistake though. The decision to close Ontario's cannabis retail stores really sucks in the short term but in the long term Aphria will have even less competition than I thought. Our chart took a nose dive right after the news was released. :( Prof

Ya, I must have 'topped up' today.  You are correct.  The other LPs are going to have a very tough go at it. We will be fine (we are not losing money) and so will Canopy (they have a lot of Constellation coin to burn up). The rest ???????  The Coke/Pepsi race is on!  Bring on October!
