And not just debt and capex. ALA is a one or two trick pony. CIBC is diversfied across the entire country and its many industries. For the slightly lower dividend I am happy to accept the massively lower risk CIBC brings. Besides, nothing in the updated slide deck from ALA hints at increases in dividends. So with a small ALA price rise, the divvy between ALA and CIBC would be the same. Why would a dividend investor by ALA? Crawford said earlier that they would look at the dividend (hinting an increase) but that language is no longer in the current slide deck. If it recovers to ACB + dividends I am out, that's for sure
