RE:RE:Mainline Not Running at CapacityIt shouldn't impact their earnings as much as you'd think, as midstream companies contract for pipeline capacity on a long-term basis and ENB gets paid by a counterparty for reserving this capacity regardless of whether or not the counterparty is actually using the capacity to move oil thorugh the pipeline.
Where there could be a potential issue is if the counterparty goes under, but I understand ENB has the big safe counterparties and was trying to secure long term contracts to mitigate this further until the regulator stepped in due to the smaller producers claiming they are disadvantaged.
I, too, am wondering when we get a timing update on Line 3. I know Minnesota is a green state, but at some point with the unemployment numbers in the US where they are going, people will have to realize they are replacing a rusty line with a new line and that to build the new line, ENB is going to create jobs.
