09:16 AM EDT, 04/08/2020 (MT Newswires) -- QMX Gold Corp. (QMX.V) declined by 5.3% yesterday, but may recover some of those losses as it released additional assay results from the infill drilling program at the Bonnefond deposit in the Val d'Or East Zone in Quebec, showing "excellent" grade over several meters.
Among highlights, Drill Hole 17315-19-074 returned 8.92 g/t Au over 4.0 meters, Drill Hole 17315-19-098 returned 2.31 g/t Au over 101.0 meters and Drill Hole 17315-19-099 returned 2.23 g/t over 36.0 meters.
The company continues to expand the area of the Bonnefond resource and subsequently the ounces within it, according to QMX Vice President of Exploration Andreas Rompel.
QMX on March 24 said it suspended fieldwork on its Val d'Or East project in keeping with guidance from the Quebec government. But the company added it is in a "very strong financial position."
