Warning for tomorrowShort sellers use put options and CFD (Contracts For Difference) as sneaky ways to short stocks because most if not all retail investors don't check the hidden put options and CFD activities that iare secretly driving the underlying security. Tomorrow is an expiry deadline for many option contracts and is a key date for many short sellers who will try hard to manipulate the price. My best guess is that towards the end of the day they will increase the manipulation level so that the price ends in the red. If you are a buyer (long) don't use all your bullets very early in the morning.
US hedge funds are manipulating many stocks not just Home Capital Group.
Tesla is a popular example where short sellers tried very hard to bankrupt the company. US hedge funds do not face the same resistance from the shareholders of Canadian companies because most retail investors in Canada do not realize the magnitude of the manipulation or simply delegate the management of their wealth to mutual funds that are milking their nest eggs through high fees and commissions while partenering with hedge funds to fleece the public (lending your shares to short sellers without any compensation)
