Why would Hexo pay. Worst case they will have to pay 2-5 years down the road. But until then They get to keep the cash on hand to finance operations. They don't even know if they willl be around that long so why even bother paying it all. The contract was a contract signed by new strike before they bought them. So it could come down to how the courts find the contract was interpreted by the interested parties. Weather its a tolling contract or take or pay or so on. I've seen these thing take up to 5 years to negotiate. So it will be a while if Medipharm sees any money if any at all.
