On July 11 2018, Wi-lan timely filed a complain for fillful patent infringement against LG.

On Oct., 10, LG filed an answer to wilan's complain with counterclaims (non-infringement and invalidity, unenforcebility,FRAND/RAND, breach of contract, monopolization, unfair business practice etc).

Then the case formally started , 9 day after the court approved Apple guilty of patent infringement of two wilan's patents.

About one year later, on Nov. 25, 2019, LG settle with Wilan. However, it took 7 years or so to get the jury award in apple case. What a difference! Obviously the situation is changing after apple case..
