This has been like a case study where people don't believe there will be a payoff. FASCINATING!
For chasing bps , yep, seems to be a liquidity problem as you say . Last time I added up the trading volume when the deal looked like troubled , the volume was 960,000  shres traded . Today , I went into tmx.com and checked price history since then now up to 2.3 million shares traded under $2.39 out of 54.5 million I read this as most people waiting for the $2.39.
Of course, I may be a possible idiot.
