Canada Access of Information ACT

Canada Access of Information ACTI am not a Canadian citizen so I am ineligible to request information. However, If I were Canadian I would exercise my right under this act to request a copy of the full investigation file i.e not the final findings/summary of AMF's supposedly  "thorough investigation". It would be interesting to see just how "thorough" and limited the scope of the investigation was.  It would also be interesting to know that if additional evidence or testimony presented itself that was not previously considered would AMF be obligated to reopen their investigation

The AMF has two forms to request information I would recommend calling them first to see which form to use to request the information. I believe there is also a nominal fee it should be approximaetly $5 CAD.

Here are two links you might find helpful if you are as curious as I am:

https://lautorite.qc.ca/en/general-public/about-the-amf/information-access/

https://www.canada.ca/en/treasury-board-secretariat/services/access-information-privacy/access-information/request-information.html

If anyone does make a request and receives the investigative file report it would be pretty cool if you could upload and share it via Dropbox or some other similar service
