RE:WHO lists two COVID-19 tests for emergency useLexagene can do a lot more than both the Roche and PrimerDesign machines.

Keep in mind these machines are intended for different use cases than the LX Analyzer. Both machines are large central lab machines operated by experienced lab techs. Lexagene is primarily focused on point of care diagnostics, no shipping samples required, ease of use, no expensive embedded cartridge, faster time to results, no specialized lab required... 

Another thing to consider is the 30% false negatives that are currently being generated by the approved RT PCR machines. That is not going to work for containing a highly contagious virus like covid. Lexagene has been running covid samples with over 99% concordance
