RE:RE:RE:RE: Is it time to sell LXG shares? Please stop you are emabarrasing yourself. Once again you display your complete lack of understanding of the diagnostic space. Instead of searching google for the latest covid 19 test that comes out of the woodwork. Why don't you start by understanding the different methods of testing PCR, RT PCR, Antibody, Serology, Isothermal amplification...
Your latest example of SureScreen is an antibody test. Antibody tests are not competition for RT PCR but complimentary. They are utilized after an infection to determine in somebody has had a virus. They are not used to identify if a patient currently is infected as Lexagene does. Big difference, there is a market for both.
Antibody tests are only good long after the acute phase of the infection…after the patient has infected all his/her friends family. IgM comes up first about 13 days after viral exposure, and they can only detect 87%….they have to wait for 20 days to get a better detection rate.
This is why RT-PCR (what LexaGene does) is preferred.
Feel free to contact Lexagene they are great at providing information re their tech as well as different test methods within the diagnostic space
