Buyout Fear

Buyout FearHi there,
I've been a long time owner of CVE and just lurking, readimng comments for years.
Thught I'd ask a question as some people here seem to be very well informed and I'm more of a "shoot from the hip" investor. ;-)

So it appears clear that there is a lot of upside from here for CVE.
But my fear is that another company just comes along and does an all cash deal, buying the company for a "premium" that still leaves a lot of us long term holders in the red.

So yes lots of upside but basically the buying company steals this upside from us for a token premium.
Just wondering how likely this is with a company the size of CVE.
