Accumulating shares

Accumulating sharesQuick update since it's been about three weeks since I last posted, and I think I'm overdue. Markets continue to surprise me pricing a V shaped recovery at the current levels. That said, I've continued to accumulate shares and will do so into May. Here are the reasons I've begun to accumulate:
  • First sport has confirmed to resume play in June - PGA Tour will conclude the tour with 14 tournaments this year resuming June 11
  • Q2 2020 Earnings (Dec-Feb) likely to see similar or modest growth from Q1 earnings. Knowing management, I don't expect any guidance for 2020
  • Lastly, strong financial position, no major liquidity issues, relatively low burn rate
Ultimately PGA confirming its resumption is a great first sign of sports coming back, and I expect at least the NBA will follow with resumption in July. MR2 has mentioned we could pop to 0.60 - 0.70 after Q2 earnings which is why I'd rather be half invested because as most of us have seen how this trades, we can easily take off like a rocket, as the president would say. Though I personally won't be fully invested again until I hear more about privatized single game wagering in Canada and waiting until what MrH said about extremely weak Q3 2020 earnings in July.
