RE:RE:Climate change
RE:RE:Climate changemick, I've been hearing that for about forty years now, that we will run out of oil. Tell me, why was there a feud between Russia and Saudi Arabia... I think their supplies are both fairly enormous. Then there's places like Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and yes, even Venezuela! The U.S. and Canada are self sufficient. Even you folks are sitting comfortable with North Sea oil. Current proven reserves on the planet will easily tide us over without any belt tightening until new resources are found and come onstream! As Calgary has pointed out on numerous occasions, without oil you will have little of what you see around you! There's only so much you can make out of bamboo... lol
If that is your argument in support of EV's... good luck with that! If anything, does it not foretell huge investment in the Alberta tar sands... something the tree huggers would surely just love. lol
And yes, I do realize that your comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but there are too many here that would take it seriously.

Seams the industry is hell bent on their own demise.... ;-)
Even stronger case for future EV's.

No gas station can use their supply and it goes sour if they don't sell it...
Let's see battery compete with zero cost gas...
Talk about being kicked when you are down...you should have listened...
Witch one of you Geniuses said LI will be good during recession? say "I" or I will go search for that post...
