RE:Here is My Math For Today's Close..i think you are wrong. 38.5% not 38.5 cents
38.5%x2=77% SP would be down 77%. It did not because. it did not reflect assets.
HOU is worth 0.37 cents now
"TORONTO, April 21, 2020 /CNW/ - Following its announcement earlier this morning, due to ongoing extreme market volatility in crude oil markets, Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. (the "Manager") announces that the indicative net asset value per share of the BetaPro Crude Oil 2x Daily Bull ETF ("HOU") as at 2:30 p.m. (EST), when the exposure of the ETF was rebalanced to the settlement price of the Light Sweet Crude Oil June futures contract, was estimated to be approximately $0.37 per share."
Tomorrow is carnage day Mat1791 wrote: Some have asked,
HOU closed yesterday at 3.13, the June 2020 futures at that time was 21.34.
Once you know those 2 numbers you can calculate the proper price at any time during the next trading day.
At the close of today the June futures finished at 13.11.
So, 21.34 - 13.11 = 8.23, 8.23/21.34 = .385 (June's losses from 4 yesterday to 4 today)
@2X = .77 HOU's losses over that same period.
Therefore HOU closing price is 3.13 (1-.77) = .72
