RE:RE:RE:Can we try to be constructive ? Then this... Hong Kong bank regulators just relaxed rules for US treasury holders. Temporarily, holders of US treasurys (in Hong Kong) can borrow Greenbacks against the paper. So treasurys paying close to 0 as collateral for credit at 3-4%. Cool right? Why would anyone do that? Because the oil crash has done so much damage that there is no choice other than mass asset liquidations.
We just went through that once. A second wave caused by defaults would be end of world.
