RE:Re-openingFarmer9,
Covid19 while very unique and dangerous, is actually turning out to have similar death rates to influenza. Recent reports the last few days from University of Southern California and Stanford University estimate 0.01% death rate after testing general population for Covid19 antibodies. In other words, Covid19 is massively widespread and therefore death rates are much lower than previously thought. You can find these studies all over the web. I think the lockdowns will ease as the new knowledge is digested by leaders. In the U.S. California is allowing elective surgeries as of today, and some parks and beaches are being opened up. I think many leaders now have better data, and better decisions will soon follow. Given the implications of the new data, I think your opening date is reasonable IMO.
