RE:RE:RE:RE:DRIP US ACCOUNTIf I understand what you did, you can simply slide your  shares into the US$ part of your account. (I have no US$ holdings currently.)

There are no currency exchange issues, it's just that the shares move over. (No selling of the Can shares, and re-buying of the US shares).

After the switch you have the same number of shares but their value is in US$, and they would trade on the NYSE rather than the TSX.

Do I have this right?

If so, I need to find out how much RBC Direct would charge for this, if anything. Some brokerages do it for free? I don't see how I can do it myself on the the RBC site so I assume I need to call them.

Any insights on this would be appreciated.
