The FeV weight is only measured by the V component in the combined product. The FeV price is higher because of the extra upstream processing cost, and you lost about 1 percent of V during the process. That is why it is priced so much higher. As for V, its demands may be higher now because of the use in flow batteries. If the price gap between them is not my such a significant amount, the FeV conversion project may not be such a profitable venture, except that it may allow them to ship it to US, with minimal shipping cost. If I were them, the FeV product goes to US, since it is better priced there than Europe. JMHO.
