RE:RE:RE:Darren R comments that were posted on Yahoo BoardAgree, he also said we are working at an unprecedent rate, meaning fast traking could be coming faster than we expect.

He is pointing out that it usually takes 12-18 i this and it IS being fast tracked seeing as they are in the final stages.
Great find WM from the comment section of another post. Thanks for sharing

They emailed Darren for clarification and Darren emailed back. His comments pretty much coincide with what shoosh an nothinbuttime were thinking after analysis, as Darren comments were inititally sort of ambiguous.
"I emailed him for clarification. Here is his response. Thanks for your message.
My tweet was to clarify the general process that all LF test developments are likely to go through.
Typically you start with a range of target antibodies/antigens/affirmers/aptamers which are screened to a select few.
These are then tested in a prototype design to find the best fit. Optimisation of those formats then takes place and prior to validation in clinical settings and trials with patients samples.
I can’t comment on the status of anyone else’s test of course.
The ‘screen down to 3 or 4’ from the tweet relates to the start of the development process in general -ie) if your starting with say 50 reagents.
Sona moved beyond the screening/prototype stages recently and are now into optimisation/validation phase to ensure we obtain the best results possible within the short timeframe that we set ourselves. We are also already engaged with our manufacturers and suppliers to ensure a swift transfer into manufacture occurs, once testing is completed.
It is important to note that typically such developments take place over 12-18 months to allow for screening, testing, optimisation of multiple scenarios and combinations of biologicals and tests materials/housing etc. We are moving at an unprecedented rate, working everyday to bring this to fruition in record time.
I hope this clarify’s your points and provides understanding of the wider process.
Thank you for your support of Sona
Kind regards
Darren."
