RE:RE:bipc to bip.un exchange

RE:RE:bipc to bip.un exchangeThe main advantage being that it saved the hassle of trying to call to my broker.

Lloyd_Blankfein wrote: Interesting that BIPC shares are trading at a small premium to BIP.UN (about a buck, CDN$, at tjhe moment).

So I sold my BIPC and bought BIP.UN, making a small profit vs. having my broker exchange the shares one for one.

SargeX wrote: For those that are interested, here's what Brookfield said about the exchange. As menioned, I sold my 277 BIPC shares at $51.74 and will try and buy 200 BIP.UN units if it drops to $51.05 or so. Otherwise, I'll just take my profits on the BIPC as my average BIP.UN purchase price is $28.84.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Brokers should be able to facilitate this exchange through the online CDS or DTC platform, as applicable. Each platform should have an event set up for such exchanges – the brokers would have to access such event and fill in the applicable information. CDS/DTC will communicate the information back to Computershare who will process the exchange and will provide the broker with BIP units. Please pass along this information to your broker. If they continue to experience difficulties, please ask them to reach out to us directly.
