I don't see cultivation as a big deal. There is plenty of raw stock available. If you really want to control your plant genetics it might be an issue but 3rd world countries with free heat, light and cheap labour are where this is headed and growers are already dropping trow to sell their harvest. Value added like tasty edibles or better yet beverages are going to steal the day as far as markethsare. I know there are die-hard smoking connosieurs but they are already losing ground. Along came vapes which are cheap and easy and consumers are still moving on to healthier less invasive products. I also see cannabinoids for ailment relief as a growing segment. The survivors are going to be few and far between unless a cottage industry develops because of specific strains that consumers are looking for. Canopy has shown that they have their finger on the pulse and are instrumental in being a tail to snout marijuana and hemp company with world ambitions. Things change as time marches on and growing pot at one time was a big thing until everybody started growing it. Distribution and retailers are always going to be needed and value added edibles, pills, lozenges and I see a huge future for beverages as an enjoyable way to medicate, socialize with a buzz on like alcohol but in diet form and no hangover the next day. Cannabinoid infused beverages are being labelled as disruptors to big alcohol and are slowly gaining ground despite the slanted field and onerous rules for thc and cbd beverages. I believe that this is too big to die off and apparently Constellation does too or they wouldn't have bought into Canopy for the big bucks that they parted with. Constellation/ Canopy and Acreage are a trifecta that is a perfect fit for the future or they wouldn't have inked the deal that they did. Just need the trigger to get pulled, which will happen very soon. glta and dyodd
