Off Topic---Any Geologists/Metallurgists Here?

Off Topic---Any Geologists/Metallurgists Here?
So I hit this thing while grinding a tree stump in Nebraska. It was embedded in the root ball of a 100+ year old tree about 12 inches underground. It's highly magnetic and tested positive for nickel with a jewelry-nickel-allergy test . Non-porous. It's about the size of my hand, spread-out, yet it's 4,292 grams. Very dense.

Anyobody know anything about meteorites or what the heck is this thing?

This is where I hit it with the stump grinder...

Possible regmaglypts (thumbprints)?

It has tiny glass like balls on the surface. Are these microtektites?

Here is a pic of a microtektite from the net. Apparently, these things form when a piece of sand is instantly transformed into glass from the immense heat of a meteorite.

This is a pic of a confirmed meteorite called a "Canyon Diablo". It's an iron-nickel meteorite discovered in Arizona in the 1800's.

And here's another pic of the thing I found. I just thought it looks the same as the Canyon Diablo.

Any geologists on this board or just a bunch of savvy investors?
This thing is driving me "nuts".
Thanks for looking!
