From an april 07th stockhouse article --in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, CBD e-commerce sales have skyrocketed. In fact, a new survey from the Brightfield Group suggests up to 40 percent of consumers plan to use CBD far more frequently because of COVID-19, with another 15 percent planning to use higher dosages.

Brightfield Group’s managing director Bethany Gomez commented:

“There is no question that with much of the country recommending to shelter at home and a pandemic sweeping the globe, anxiety levels are skyrocketing. Anxiety is the number one ailment of CBD users – 53 percent of them report it. Depression and insomnia, which likely to spike over the coming months, are number three and four. For those that truly need CBD and are relying on it for their health and wellbeing, consumption is expected to continue or increase.”

Additionally, the research analysts found that with many new consumers turning to CBD, and existing users increasing their consumption, this will likely help boost sales of many CBD self-care products. All of this is now creating sizable opportunity for companies such as Vext Science, Inc. (CSE.VEXTOTCQX:VEXTFForum), Alternate Health Corp. (CSE.AHGOTCQB:AHGIFForum), TransCanna Holdings (CSE:TCANOTC:TCNAFForum), 1933 Industries Inc. (CSE.TGIFOTC:TGIFFForum), Weekend Unlimited Inc. (CSE.POTOTC:WKULFForum) and FSD Pharma Inc. (CSE.HUGEOTCQB: FSDDFForum).

And, timely investment opportunities for investors who are eyeing real stock value in the once lagging sector.
