RE:RE:FDA to better police, evaluate COVID-19 antibody tests"140 antibody test companies in the US now."
It's getting harder and harder to predict which company to invest in to be part of this.
It would have been good to be a shareholder in Spartan, unfortunately it's privately held.
I'm invested in a couple of companies that have some part of the "treatment" of Covid-19, a couple that are trying to get a piece of the antigen testing market and a couple that are trying for a piece of the antibody testing market.
There's a significant amount of money to be made, along with some satisfaction from owning some small share of the company that comes out as the winner. It's going to be very difficult to pick the winners though. Back when I was investing mostly in junior miners I spent a lot of time learning geology and learning how to read reports on drill rod - thought that was difficult. Now I'm spending all my time trying to learn how to differentiate between different kinds of antibody tests and the specifics of IgG and IgM antibodies. Complicating this is the maze of commercial agreements between different companies, international standards and approval processes.
It's all very compicated I must say and on top of all of this you have the usual dirty tricks being played in the market and here on SH.
