RE:RE:RE:RE:Permits: Something stinks

Thank you for providing the links. I started to review them and also the initial information request from July 2019 but this is an enormous task. I decided to take some notes and make a general summary for myself. I will share it as it may be useful to others:

-July 2019 information request has 165 questions for CRE to answer
-January 2020 they indicate that they have some 15 follow up questions and that they urgently await some test results that needed to be re-done in the spring of 2020. They also request that CRE justify why some test parameters were left out even though they were made aware of what was expected. They hint to possibly more questions coming.
-March 2020 they hit CRE with an additional 68 questions! These are not new questions. They are responding to inadequate information provided. This is part 1 which deals with the first 115 questions of the July inquiry. Part 2 is coming and will deal with the indigenous peoples section, the last 50 of the original questions.
-Some quick math shows that CRE managed to answer 40% of the first 115 questions to some satisfaction. Hopefully part 2 is better covered as they have done extensive work in that area.
-Some of the questions being raised are silly (like why aren't they considering brine extraction) but most of the questions seem legit and have many parts to them. I don't have a clue how easy or hard they are to answer, or how much work is involved.

I think there was a lot of optimism early in the year when they got the 15 questions back. It seemed like we were very close, then they hit us with a brutal reality check. Hopefully getting all of the answers doesn't soak up too much cash...

Thanks again
